If you think Disney is just for kids, think again. Adults in Disney are common, despite the idea that Disney is set up for the enjoyment of children. From fast roller coasters to fine dining at the Polynesian Resort, many couples head to Disney for their honeymoon or a vacation without children in tow. There's plenty for adults to do, especially when you don't have to wait in line to meet the princesses. When you and your partner are looking for some adult fun, it's time to see how you can enjoy Disney together. When children aren't a factor in planning your trip, you can go any time your schedule allows for a fun-filled, child-free Disney vacation.
Look at the School Calendar
One of the best times to go to Disney as two adults is when school is in session. Look at the school calendar both in the United States and abroad. If schools are all in session, this is a perfect time to head to Disney. September and October are usually great months, as even parents who are going to take their children out of school for a Disney vacation will wait until the school year is several months in.
Good Dining Options
When you are a foodie and want some great dining options, you can find what you are looking for on Disney property. Check out some of the fine dining choices at Epcot Center or head down to Disney Springs. You'll get a meal that you enjoy without having to fight the crowds with young families. From Italian food to a high-end steakhouse, you'll get to choose from a wide menu when you know where to look. Skip the character breakfasts and head to a high-end restaurant instead.
Look for the Hidden Bars
If you are looking to have a good drink or two, Disney has some options both within the parks and nearby. Downtown Disney has plenty of choices when it comes to a great cocktail, while the Polynesian Village has Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. Pay attention to the timing, as most places become adult-only after 8 pm, a perfect time for you and your partner to head out for a few drinks.
Disney is a wonderful place for people of all ages. When you want to stay away from crowds, watch for times when school is in session. Look for adult-only opportunities and have fun together.

After I started investing more and more time into parenting, I realized that there were some real issues with what my children were watching on television. It occurred to me that they really thought about their entertainment for hours, days, and weeks that followed their experience, so I really did an overhaul of their screen time. We started talking with our kids about the best programs for their minds, and focusing on eliminating shows that wouldn't be beneficial in any way. This website is all about entertaining small kids and knowing how to improve their lives through tv, books, and media.
